I initiated and led the UX redesign of the reviews management experience for Wix App Market developers.
Starting with research to identify pain points, I designed a unified dashboard that aggregates feedback across all of a developer's apps, with filtering, sorting, response management, and an AI-assisted flow for reporting inappropriate reviews. Though not shipped, the work established a clear strategic direction for scalable cross-app review management.
What I Did
- Conducted research on developer needs and mapped key pain points
- Designed a unified reviews dashboard with filtering, sorting, and response management
- Changed the review opening pattern from an inline accordion to a modal, making it reusable and openable from multiple entry points across the platform
- Planned an AI-assisted flow for reporting and removing inappropriate reviews
Impact
The project was not shipped, but it set the direction for how cross-app review management should work at scale.
Bottom line
Reviews are one of those features that feel simple until you're designing them at scale.
The challenge here wasn't the reply UI - it was figuring out what a developer with ten apps actually needs to see, and how you give them meaningful control without building ten separate surfaces. The AI-assisted reporting flow raised a genuinely hard question: when do you trust a machine's judgment on something consequential, and when do you need a human in the loop?
